This
workpackage covers all reporting and dissemination activities. The
aim is to produce annual and end-of-activity reports and to encourage
as much dissemination as possible during the project.
Methodology
/ Description of work
During
the course of the project annual progress reports will be required
from each participant. Reports will also be required after completion
of Workpackages 2 and 5. The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology
will be responsible for the completion of these reporting activities.
An
important objective of MERIT is to encourage as much dissemination
as possible during the project. The close involvement of stakeholders
in each of the study areas will ensure dissemination at this local
level, but a wider audience will also be sought. To achieve this
objective we will invite potential users of the planned integrated
management tool to all stakeholder and participant meetings to allow
them to become familiar with the methodology we are proposing. The
users will include consultants who carry out environmental evaluations
on behalf of regulatory bodies, as well as the regulatory bodies
themselves. The methodology will provide European consultants and
planners with an innovative edge in the field of integrated management
and give regulatory bodies the tool they need to achieve the objective
of long term sustainable water resource management.
